يتناول كتاب \"أخبار الظراف والمتماجنين\" للمؤلف \"جمال الدين أبي الفرج عبد الرحمن\" طريف في موضوعه يتناول أخبار الظرفاء والمتماجنين. وقد قسم المؤلف بابه الأول إلى خمسة أقسام : الأول للأنبياء، والثاني للصحابة، والثالث للعلماء الحكماء، والرابع للأعراب، والخامس للعوام. وذكر في الباب الثاني أخبار ونوادر النساء، والباب الثالث ذكر فيه ما ورد عن الصبيان من نوادر.
