يأتي هذا الكتاب هدف إلى الكشف عن هذه المدرسة العراقية المنطقية المعاصرة وتوضيح ما قدمه هؤلاء الفلاسفة من نتاج منطقي رصين واجب الكشف عنه وتحليله وربطه بمجمل التفلسف العام سواء أكان في العراق أم في العالمين العربي والإسلامي وقد كان منهج الباحث العام في تأسيس موضوعات وفصول هذا الكتاب هو إحصاء النتاج المنطقي المعاصر منذ بداية القرن العشرين وحتى عام 2003 حيث فحص في هذه الحقبة ما ظهر من إسهامات منطقية عراقية معاصرة سواء أكانت على شكل كتب تحمل عنوان المنطق أو مقالات ونصوص وأبحاث وتحقيقات قام بها مناطقة عراقيون معاصرون.
