هدف هذه الدراسة إلى تسليط الضوء على الموروث الثقافي والحضاري للتراث الشعبي البلوشي من خلال تتبع مفاصل السياق التاريخي والحضاري لهذه الأمة العظيمة، ووعيا منا بأهمية التراث الثقافي الشعبي كهوية لهذا الشعب العريق وجزء من ذاكرته الجماعية التي تشكل تاريخه وشخصيته وفوق ذلك يشعر البلوش بالخطر الذي يتربص به وهو محاولة العد وطمس هذه الهوية بشتى الأساليب التي ينتهجها من خلال عرضها كجزء من تراثه أحيانا وتشويها أحيانا أخرى بتشويه رموزها. هذا من جهة و من جهة أخرى فإن هدفنا الرئيسي من هذه الدراسة هو توعية للباحثين والكتاب والأكاديميين والقراء الأكارم بماهية الثقافة البلوشية والموروث الثقافي وأهميته وسبل حمايته وخاصة في وقتنا الراهن والذي يدلف فيه العالم بأجمعه عتبة العولمة وسرعة التطور التكنولوجي وتداعياته المختلفة.
