يأتي هذا الإصدار ليتناول قصر الشيخ عبد الله السالم الصباح كمعلم تاريخي مهم في جزيرة فيلكا والذي تم تحويله إلى مبنى تراثي ومتحفا مفتوحا ليغطي حقبة زمنية لا تزال آثارها ملموسة وظاهرة للعيان وعلى هذا قام المجلس الوطني للثقافة والفنون والآداب بالمحافظة على العديد من المباني التاريخية جنبا إلى جنب مع المواقع الأثرية وتتواجد هذه المباني التاريخية في مدينة الكويت.
