تاريخ بلدية الكويت في خمسين عاما يلقى أضواء كاشفة-من خلال الوثائق-على جوانب متعددة لواقع الحياة الاجتماعية والإدارية للمجتمع الكويتي في الفترة ما بين 1349-1385 هـ/ 1930-1966 م-تاریخ نشأة بلدية الكويت التي اعطت للكويتيين لأول مرة في تاريخهم تجربة الانتخابات، حيث اختاروا أول مجلس البلدية بطريقة الانتخاب-وتطورها عبر مراحل معينة ؛ قبل النفط وبعده، قبل الاستقلال وبعده.
