هذا الكتاب الذي بين يديك هو حصيلة أكثر من عشرين سنة من البحث وجمع المعلومات من مختلف مصادر المعرفة، لتشكل في مجملها ثقافة عامة لا غنى عنها لأي قارئ أو قارئة، وقد حفزني للقيام بتجميع المعلومات وتوثيقها عملي بإذاعة الجماهيرية في إعداد وتقديم العديد من البرامج الإذاعية وخاصة تلك التي تتعلق بالمسابقاتها وهو ما أتاح لي فرصة الإطلاع، ورغم الجهد الذي بذلته في إعداد هذه السلسلة الثقافية، فإنه يهون في سبيل تحقيق هدفي، وهو إصدار سلسلة ثقافية منوعة في شكل أسئلة ثقافة القراء وتثري المكتبة المحلية والعربية، وغاية ما أتمناه أن يجد فيها القارئ ما يفيده ويشبع رغباته في المعرفة والاستفادة.
