يتحدث الكتاب عن المعالجات الطبية الإسلامية واثبات أصالتها وسبق المسلمين لغيرهم لأنه للأسف الشديد أن القسم الأكبر من تلك المعالجات الطبية الإسلامية قد نسبت خطأ إلى علماء الغرب في حين أن الأطباء المسلمين قد سبقوهم بمئات من السنين وكذلك لابد من الإشارة أن تلك المعالجات الطبية الإسلامية التي ذكرناها ما هي إلا الجزء اليسير من المعالجات التي توصل لها الأطباء المسلمون لكون أغلب مآثر المسلمين الطبية ما زالت محفوظة في بطون المخطوطات التي هي الآن بعيدة عن الدراسة والتحقيق وموزعة في مختلف مراكز حفظ التراث العلمي الإسلامي في جميع أنحاء العالم حيث لم يحقق إلا الشيء القليل جدا منها والذي لا يتناسب مع سعة ما تركه لنا الأطباء المسلمون من أفكار ومعالجات طبية.
