يأخذ هذا الكتاب القارئ في رحلة تأملية لمجموعة من قصص القرآن الكريم، نتوقف فيها عند كل قصة مجموعة وقفات تدبرية، نسلط فيها الضوء على ما حوته هذه القصص من العبر والعظات في جوانب العقيدة والسلوك، ونلقي نظرة على الفتن المتنوعة التي تعرضت لها الأمم من قبلنا، سواء أكانت في جانب العقيدة أو السلوك الاجتماعي والاقتصادي وغيره. ونستعرض سبل النجاة من هذه الفتن، ونتطرق إلى بعض العلاقات الإنسانية التي وردت في هذه القصص، وفنون الدعوة والحوار والإدارة، ونربط هذا كله بواقعنا المعاصر، لنخرج من هذه الرحلة التأملية بزاد إيماني ومعرفي يحقق ما أمرنا الله تعالى به من عبادة التفكر: «فاقصص القصص لعلهم يتفكرون»، فيزيدنا هذا التفكر هدى وثباتا وخبرة، ويلهمنا حسن التصرف في مواقف الحياة المختلفة.
