هدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على اجترار الذات لدى طلبة الجامعة وكذلك التعرف على الفروق وكان مجتمع البحث مكون من طلبة الجامعة (الذكور، الإناث) ولكلا الاختصاصين (العلمي، الإنساني) وكانت عينة البحث البالغ عددها (490) طالب وطالبة واستخدمت الوسائل الإحصائية الآتية النسبة المئوية ومعامل ارتباط بيرسون والاختبار التائي لعينة واحدة والاختبار التائي لعينتين مستقلتين ومعادلة ألفا-كرو نباح الحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) وكانت نتائج البحث هي : عدم وجود فرق ذات دلالة إحصائية في اجترار الذات لدى طلبة الجامعة وفق متغير النوع (ذكور، إناث) والتخصص (علمي، إنساني).
