يوضح الكاتب ان الغاية من كتابه هذا الكتاب بداية لخدمة الكتاب الكريم من حيث معايشة العلماء والدعاة المهتمين بالخطاب الديني، حيث تظهر بين الحين والحين أخطاء تتجدد لا من باب العبارة الشائعة (القرآن حمال أوجه)، وإنما من باب النزعات الفكرية والبدع التي تنشأ وتورث، وقد ظهرت أيام رسول الله وبعض التصورات التفسيرية، هي بلا شك أخطاء لكنها سرعان ما توارت حين سأل الناس عنها رسول الله وما في هذا الكتاب لم يكن من تلك التصورات وإنما كان بعد وسوف يكون غيرها، وقد تكون هنالك أخطاء في زماننا لم أقف عليها فمن وقف عليها من العلماء وجب عليه أن ينبه الناس إليها، من باب خدمة هذا الكتاب الفريد والرغبة الصادقة في نصح المسلمين فقد جاء في الصحيح عن رسول الله وأن الدين النصيحة ولن ترتقي نصيحة في الحياة إلى مستوى النصيحة في ضوء كتاب الله، على المعنى الصحيح.
