هذه الدراسة تستكمل تاريخ الأرمن فى مصر بين عامي 1896-1961، موضحا أن الأرمن فى القرن التاسع عشر كانوا يمثلون نخبة منتقاة وجالية متميزة اجتماعيا واقتصاديا وسياسيا ؛ لذا تعرض الأرمن لسلسلة من الاضطهادات والمذابح التي أودت بحياة الآلاف منهم، وشتت آخرين فيما تمخض عنه المهجر الأرمني ؛ وعلى الرغم من أن مصر كانت جزءا من الدولة العثمانية وقتها، إلا أنها أصبحت بلدا مهمة لهجرة الأرمن الذين دخلوها سالمين وعاشوا آمنين لتصبح مصر هي الدولة الأفريقية الوحيدة التي استوعبت الأرمن النازحين تحت حماية مصر المحروسة.
