يتناول هذا الكتاب السيرة الذاتية لـ \"الشيخ علي بابیر\"، حيث سجل فيه الأعمال والنشاطات والأحداث والمحطات المهمة في حياته، حيث تناول الأسفار والزيارات داخل وخارج البلد، سواء منها السياسية والحزبية، أو أسرية واجتماعية، بالإضافة إلى الدورات والندوات والمحاضرات التي أشير إليها، كما تناول في الكتاب العديد من محاولات الإصلاح ورأب الصدع في المجال السياسي والأسري والاجتماعي، في كثير من مناطق إقليم كوردستان والتي حققت بعضها أهدافها كاملة، لكن بعضها لم تثمر إلا جزئيا، أو لم تنتج شيئا. وذكر المؤلف أيضا أنه قام بمئات الزيارات السياسية والاجتماعية واستقبل مئات من الوفود والزيارات السياسية والمنظماتية والاجتماعية، من الأجانب والمواطنين، من جميع شرائح المجتمع.
