رواية من تأليف صمويل ريتشاردسون باميلا أو مكافأة الفضيلة رواية رسائلية تأليف صمويل ريتشاردسون نشرت لأول مرة في 1740 بدأ ريتشاردسون كتابتها وهو في عمر ال 50 تحكي قصة فتاة جميلة فقيرة في خامس عشر من العمر تدعى \" باميلا أندروز\" تعمل خادمة في منزل عائلة أرستقراطية سرعا ما يفتتن بها ابن هذه العائلة \" السيد بي \" الذي يحاول التحرش بها، على الرغم من شعورها نحوه بعاطفة مشوبة بالحذر، ويقرر الابن احتجاز باميلا مدة أربعين يوما ليفرض رأيه عليها، فتكتب مذكراتها. وتمر علاقتهما بعدة مراحل، من الصراع إلى التأمل ومن ثم الزواج.
