هذا الكتاب في النحو هو متن من متون النحو والصرف ألفه الإمام الشعراني لعلماء عصره ومريديه من الصوفية بطريقة مختصرة ميسرة ليسهل الفهم والتطبيق منعا من الوقوع في اللحن في الكتاب والسنة فإن الكتاب مع صغر حجمه قد جمع فيه مؤلفه مجموع ما في المطولات والشروح وأتى فيه بكل باب من أبواب النحو والصرف بطرف مستشهدا بآيات من القرآن الكريم والحديث الشريف وبعض الشواهد الشعرية ثم ختمه بخاتمة جمع فيها خلاصة علم النحو.
