Volunteering at our Library

“We can volunteer for an hour, a day or a week, and can contribute by using the skills or knowledge that we have. We can volunteer by contributing our energy or money, but volunteer we must to make a difference in the community.” His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.

Volunteering is a unique characteristic of societies, and as part of Mohammed Bin Rashid Library’s social responsibility and vision towards enhancing community cohesion, we promote volunteering in cultural and knowledge industries to empower competencies across all segments of society. Volunteer with us to access an extensive sphere of expertise and skills across several cultural fields.

Voluntary fields:

Visitors reception and guidance
Customer service and engaging with visitors from all ages

Book Categorising
Book Archiving

Mastering the Library of Congress Classification system used in MBRL
