دور المدارس الأردنية في تعزيز الأمن الفكري لدى الطلبة
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن دور المدارس الأردنية في تعزيز الأمن الفكري لدى طلبة المدارس، وعما إذا كانت هنالك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (α= .05) في دور المدارس الأردنية في تعزيز الأمن الفكري تعزى إلى متغير الجنس، ومتغير المستوى الدراسي (مرحلة متوسطة، وثانوية)، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة عملت الباحثة على تطوير مقياس لدور المدارس الأردنية في تعزيز الأمن الفكري لدى الطلبة، تكون من ثلاثة محاور: (دور الإدارة المدرسية، دور المعلمين، دور المناهج الدراسية). وتكونت العينة من (991) من طلبة لواء الرمثا في إربد. واستخدم البرنامج الإحصائي SPSS لتحليل النتائج. وقد كشفت نتائج الدراسة عن وجود دور للمدارس في تعزيز الأمن الفكري لدى الطلبة، وعن عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لأثر الجنس في الدرجة الكلية والمحاور باستثناء محور دور المعلمين؛ حيث وجدت فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين الذكور والإناث وجاءت الفروق لصالح الذكور، كما تبين من الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لأثر المستوى الدراسي في الدرجة الكلية والمحاور، باستثناء دور الإدارة المدرسية، وجاءت الفروق لصالح المرحلة الثانوية، وبناء على نتائج الدراسة توصي الباحثة باستمرار الدراسات التي تسعى إلى تعزيز مفهوم الأمن الفكري لدى الطلبة لخطورة هذه الفئة ولدورها المحوري في الحاضر والمستقبل للدولة
Is Foreign Language Classroom Enjoyment Related to Gender, Age, Achievement, Foreign-Language Mastery, and Education Level?
In the context of Saudi FL classrooms, this research investigates the link between Foreign Language Enjoyment (FLE) and a number of characteristics. A total of 143 current high school students, undergraduate, and postgraduate FL Saudi students were considered for this study. The high school students\" study at three high schools, and the undergraduates and postgraduates are students at King Khalid University. An FLE measure was used based on Likert scale ratings of 21 items (MacIntyre & Dewaele, 2014). Qualitative data were collected via the open question included in the online questionnaire. The results of statistical analyses showed a relationship between FLE levels and the following independent variables: age group, education level, FL mastery, and general FL level (ranging from beginners to advanced). Compared to male participants, females reported more FLE. Testimonies from the participants about enjoyable situations in the FL class demonstrated the importance of the instructors' passionate qualities and their adeptness in creating a supportive peer group. Many participants shared their experiences of realizing that their prolonged efforts to become proficient in a particular FL skill had been fruitful.

يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى التعرف على فاعلية برنامج تدريبي لتنمية الضبط الذاتي وأثره على خفض السلوك الإندفاعي لتلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية والأثر الذي يمكن أن يحدثه برنامج تدريبي لتنمية الضبط الذاتي وأثره على خفض السلوك الإندفاعي لتلاميذ المرحلة الإعدادية وذلك من خلال تقديم برنامج يقوم على الأسس العلمية والتدريبية المتبعة في توجيه وإرشاد الطفل.
Investigating Teachers and Students Evaluation of the Textbook \English for Iraq\ for First and Second Grades of High School Based on Litz's Checklist
The present study investigated Iraqi teachers' and students' evaluation of the textbook English for Iraq for first and second grades of high school based on Litz's checklist using a descriptive qualitative method. The sample of this study was 2 textbooks entitled -English for Iraq|| for 1st and 2nd Intermediate Grades. The research data was collected from the evaluation checklist of experts consisting of 5 Points in evaluation textbooks. The results of the evaluation of the two books have mostly met the standards of a decent book based on the criteria of Litz in terms of objectives, layout, design, methodology, skills, and elements of language. This study also intended to examine EFL teachers' and students' points of view on these two textbooks. The participants were 70 first and second-grade intermediate school students and 30 EFL teachers who were chosen from various intermediate schools in Wasit province. The researcher designed two questionnaires to evaluate these textbooks. The examinations uncovered that EFL teachers were to some extent happy with the -English for Iraq textbook series||; Notwithstanding, EFL students were fairly impartial. The evaluation also indicated that the English for Iraq textbook meets the CLT educational plan's points and targets in introducing the exercises and activities through legitimate texts (fiction and nonfiction) that are connected with genuine circumstances. The findings of this research may hold any importance with Iraqi EFL teachers, materials designers, and the partners engaged with the materials readiness Departments of the Iraqi Ministry of General Education.
تعاطي المخدرات بين طلاب المدارس : الأبعاد التاريخية والاقتصادية والاجتماعية
إن المشكلات السلوكية قضية مازالت وستظل محل بحث ونقاش واختلاف ما دامت هناك متغيرات اجتماعية واقتصادية وسياسية تحدث لنا ومن حولنا، وكي تتضح الرؤى وتتبلور الأفكار وتقترح الحلول رأينا إصدار هذه السلسلة التي تضم بين دفتيها عدد كبير من البحوث والدراسات والأوراق العلمية الجادة الرصينة التي أجريت في بيئات عربية مختلفة، والتي تناولت المشكلات السلوكية في جميع أنواعها وأبعادها سواء من حيث الأسباب أو المظاهر أو الحلول المقترحة لمواجهة تلك المشكلات، وتصدر هذه السلسلة في مجموعة أجزاء، وكل جزء في كتاب مستقل يحتوي مجموعة من البحوث والدراسات التي تركز على موضوع بعينه، مثل هذا الجزء الذي اجتمع فيه (الدكتور/ عوض توفيق عوض، الدكتور/ رسمي عبد الملك رستم والدكتور/عبد الله بيومي) للإحاطة بقضية تعاطي المخدرات بين طلاب المدارس، وذلك من خلال أربعة فصول كانت كالتالي : (الفصل الأول : التطور التاريخي لمشكلة المخدرات في مصر مع الإشارة لبعض الدول، الفصل الثاني : البعد الإقتصادي لإدمان المخدرات في مؤسسات التعليم قبل الجامعي وتأثيره على الطالب والأسرة والمجتمع، الفصل الثالث : البعد الإجتماعي ودور الجمعيات الأهلية في مواجهة مشكلة الإدمان وعلاقتها بالمجتمع المدرسي، المدمن في البيئة الجزائرية \"أي تكفل وأي علاج؟\" د. لونيس علي / د. تغليت صلاح الدين)
The Effectiveness of a Differentiated Instruction-Based Program for Developing English Writing Fluency among Preparatory Schoolers
The present study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a differentiated instruction-based program (DIBP) for developing English writing fluency among preparatory schoolers. To do so, thirty students were selected from Fatima Al Zahraa Prep School for Girls, Al-Arish, North Sinai Governorate. For determining the most important and required EFL writing fluency skills for second year prep students, a list of EFL writing fluency skills was designed and validated by a number of EFL jury members. Then, pre and post EFL writing fluency test was designed. Students were pre-tested to determine their entry level of EFL writing fluency skills, then they were taught the program. Data were obtained from administering writing fluency post test. To analyze the data statistically, a paired sample t-test was used. Results of the study revealed that the differentiated instruction based-program had a significantly positive effect on developing the writing fluency skills in English for preparatory schoolers. Recommendations and suggestions for further research were presented.
The Effectiveness of a Successful Intelligence-Based Program for Developing English Writing Skills and Attitudes towards Writing among Preparatory Schoolers
This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a successful intelligence-based program for developing English writing skills and attitudes towards writing among preparatory schoolers. The participants (N=25) were divided into two groups; the experimental group and the control one. The experimental group consisted of 12 students at Al-Arish Preparatory Institute for Girls, Al-Arish city, North Sinai Governorate, whereas the control group consisted of 13 students at Al-Arish New Preparatory Institute for Girls, Al-Arish city, North Sinai Governorate. The instruments and material were prepared and validated as follows: a writing skills checklist, a writing skills pre-post test, a writing attitude scale and a successful intelligence-based program. The experimental group received the successful intelligence-based program as an experimental intervention, while the control group received only the regular running program. The writing skills test and the writing attitude scale were pre-administered. The successful intelligence-based program was implemented, and then the test and the scale were post-administrated at the end of the intervention. The study results revealed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group pre and post measurements on both the writing skills test and the writing attitude scale in favour of the post measurement. Results also showed that there are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups on both the writing skills test and the writing attitude scale in favour of the experimental group.
