Know before you go

Children below 5 years are not allowed to enter the library.

Visitors must wear appropriate clothing (covering shoulders & knees), and in the event of a violation, entry will be prohibited.

Using flash photography is prohibited.

Commercial use of images without official permission from the library is not allowed.

Getting Here

Getting here is easy. The Mohammed bin Rashid Library is located in Al Jaddaf, near to the Creek Metro Station next to Dubai Creek.

Drive to the library via the Al Khail Road (D68), near to where the road crosses the Dubai Creek, taking the exit to the Creek Metro Station and Mohammed bin Rashid Library. You'll find the library signposted after you exit the main road.

Dubai Bus route no. C04 stops at the Creek Metro Station, which is 5-10 minutes walk from the library building.

Dubai Metro's Green Line terminates at the Creek Metro Station, which is 5-10 minutes walk from the library building.

A taxi drop-off and pick-up point is located in front of the main entrance to the library car park.

An airconditioned abra (water taxi) connects Dubai Festival City Marine Station with Al Jaddaf Marine Station, which is 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes taxi ride from the library building.
