كتاب \"أصوات مراكش\" أقرب إلى معمار موسيقي شديد الرهافة والدقة والجبروت في آن ونحن على امتداد صفحاته نجد أنفسنا حيال ثلاث حركات متمايزة ومتناغمة تجسد روح العمل تضم الحركة الأولى المقاطع الخمسة الأولى من الكتاب بدءا من وجها لوجه مع الإبل وانتهاء بــالدار الصامتة والأسطح الخاوية حيث نلتقي بعنوان مراكش الصاك الذي يتراجع إلى حد الموات في الدور الصامتة وتشمل الحركة الثانية أطول أجزاء الكتاب وتبدأ بلقاء مع القدر في المرأة المطلة من النافذة مرورا بــزيارة إلى باب الملاح حيث نرى أن هيمنة المرأة الجميلة ليست إلا جنونا مروعا وفي الحركة الثالثة ابتداء من الحكواتية والكتبة وصولا إلى المحجب نحن في لقاء مع القدر أيضا، لكننا نضع يدنا على روح مراكش الحائرة بين الجبروت الصاك عند أسوار المدينة والموت المهموس في قرارها.
