يتناول المؤتمر السادس للآثار في البلاد العربية والذي جاء فى حوالي (643) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (الآثار في البلاد العربية) مستعرضا موضوعا رئيسيا وهو \"حماية الآثاء وصياناتها في الوطن العربي\" وقد تشعب هذا الموضوع إلى ستة عناصر دارات حولها أبحاث هذا المؤتمر وهي 1- التطور والمحافظة على الطابع الأصيل، 2- حصر الآثار وتسجيلها في كل قطر عربي، 3- استخدام العلم الحديث وتطبيقاته في ميدان الآثار، 4- حراسة الآثار والمحافظة عليها، 5- الإتجار بالآثار وتبادلها وإهدائها، 6- البعثات التثقيفية وتنظيم العلاقة معا.
