يحتوي الكتاب على العديد من الصور التاريخية لهتلر ووزرائه وعشيقاته وصورا لمعتقلات النازيين وأفران الإعدام بالغاز على يد النازيين، والقرى والمدن التي دكتها الجيوش النازية حتى قبل قيام الحرب الكونية الأولى. وذكرت الكاتبة في مقدمتها لكتابها أن الكتاب قد حوى حقائق عن هتلر وهي حقائق غير معروفة في العالم حتى اليوم، أي تاريخ تأليف الكتاب. وكانت هي خادمة في بيرشسقادن، وقد سنحت لها الفرصة لرؤية هتلر الحقيقي قبل أن تحيط به أعين المعجبين، وقد كان لهتلر كان له أكثر من شبيه يمارسون أدواراً بالنيابة عنه، وقد ذكرتهم الكاتبة التي عرفتهم عن قرب كما عرفت هتلر عن قرب.
