يأتي هذا الكتاب (من تراث السريان اللغوي، الألفاظ السريانية في المعاجم العربية للبطريرك أغناطيوس إفرام الأول برصوم المولود في الموصل سنة 1887، والمتوفى في حمص سنة 1957 (وكتب أخرى سوف تصدر تمثل جزءا من مشروع جمع التراث المسيحي السرياني، وخاصة اللغوي منه فالبحوث الواردة في هذين الكتابين وغيرهما كنت قد جمعتها من بطون المجلات والدوريات، وقدمت لها عن حياة مؤلفيها وأعمالهم.
