يوضح الكتاب أنه سجل لنا التاريخ الإسلامي تعزيزه للحياة الاجتماعية وأثبت أن الإسلام لم يكن مجرد عقائد دينية فردية منذ أن تكونت دولته وإنما أعطى لكل المسلمين وغير المسلمين حقهم في المساواة واهتم بتربية العقل البشري ووضع ميزانا بين العقيدة والتشريع وبين العبادات والمعاملات حيث إن الحياة الاجتماعية المتزنة تهيمن على النظم الإسلامية في كل شأن من شؤون الحياة وأعطت الشريعة الإسلامية الحياة الاجتماعية والحياة السياسية حقهما كغيرهما من النظم الأخرى إلا أن هناك اتجاهات اجتماعية ومذهبية تؤدي إلى إضعاف الدول.
