إن حوادث المرور من المشكلات التي فرضت نفسها في عالمنا المعاصر، فكان لابد من إيجاد حلول لها، إما للقضاء على أصل المشكل أو التقليل منه، والشريعة الإسلامية من خلال نصوصها القرآنية والحديثية وقواعدها الأصولية والفقهية عالجت الموضوع من جانبين، الأول الجانب الوقائي، والثاني في تحميل المتسبب تبعة الحادث، فألزمته الكفارة والدية والضمان.
