Overview
The night was even darker without the moon lighting up the sky, but it shone brightly in my arms and I had to squint against the glow to see where the old man was taking me. The house was small and cramped but well-loved, filled with soft-cushioned chairs, antique rugs worn out in the middle, and black and white framed photos of the couple. The old man stayed with her body and the moon, combing her hair and massaging the water into her arms and hands.
