Overview
The research aims to study the characteristics of the city of Caesars in the novel The City of Caesars by the Chilean writer, Manuel Rojas and the city of Utopia in the novel Utopia of the Egyptian writer, Ahmed Khaled Tawfik. The characteristics of each writer stand out, as they are from two different worlds. The characteristics of each city and its main characters are studied, in addition to underlining the grotesque versus the ideal; that is, a comparison is made between both cities to highlight the differences, but in the end the two are totally isolated.
