Overview
تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تعرف نمط توزع المدن السعودية، بالاعتماد على النتائج الأولية لبيانات التعداد العام للسكان والمساكن الذي أجري في المملكة في عام 1425 هـ/ 2004 م. وتم التحقق من فروض الدراسة بعد تحديد مواقع المدن السعودية بحسب إحداثياتها على خريطة المملكة، ومن ثم استخدام عدد من التحليلات الإحصائية المكانية، ملحقة ببرنامج آرك فيو 2 ,3، وهي تحليلات المربعات، وصلة الجوار، والارتباط المكاني الذاتي. وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج متباينة، اختلفت باختلاف طرق التحليل، حيث راوحت بين الانتشار والعنقودية والعشوائية؛ مما يدعو إلى أهمية إجراء مزيد من الدراسات والبحوث، للوصول إلى فهم أعمق لهذه الظاهرة المكانية.
