\"It's really important, especially at the quarterback position,\" [Jason Driskel] said after Tuesday's practice. \"If you don't want to be a leader, you're playing quarterback so you're going to be a leader. If the guys saw us not being friends, that would be horrible for our football team. That's not what this is about.\" \"The good thing about it is they both support each other,\" first-year offensive coordinator Travis Trickett said. \"Overall, the entire team, and coach [Charlie Partridge] has led the charge on this, it's really just next man up. It's bigger than just one guy. It's been very good to see, whoever's back there, to go out and do well. The key is not to get caught up in that.\" \"If you're not confident, it's over,\" Driskel said. \"All hope is lost if you're not confident. That's one thing you have to learn. One day I might come out here and look great. The next day, I might not look so hot but confidence should never waver.\"
