\"Before there was this type of opportunity, the kids didn't really know each other,\" said Northern Highlands coach Rich Smith, who oversees the Express. \"It's great to see when the other bus arrives [before games] that the kids are saying hello to each other. It adds a lot of sportsmanship to the game.\" \"They're super pumped to go on this trip,\" Smith said. \"They have the opportunity to get seen by coaches and get recruited by great schools. We have some real high profile players and I think that's going to help us at the tournament we're going to.\" \"It's all about the players and trying to improve the quality of field hockey in Passaic and Bergen counties,\" Smith said. \"It's a fun environment. There is plenty of camaraderie. I think the kids really get along first and play well together on the field second.\"
