Books

All members are entitled to borrow books from the library to read or study at home, by either checking books out with the help of the Library Reception Desk or using one of our self-checkout kiosks.

Members are required to provide a deposit and books must be returned in the same condition as when they were checked out.

Non-members are welcome to read books in the library, but only registered members may check out books.

Books can be returned at conveniently throughout the library. The service of returning borrowed books utilizes the library's advanced technologies.

It's easy to find a book at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library

• Use a Search Station, located on the ground floor 

• Use a Search Screen, located throughout the library 

• Use the MBRL catalog search from your own computer or via the mobile app 

• Request assistance from library staff 

If you don't find what you are looking for This service allows members to suggest & recommend books that are unavailable in the library, by sending a request on the website, or ask for support from the library staff.

Please note that this service is free of charge, and the decision of providing the book, and timing, is made at the sole discretion of Mohammed Bin Rashid Library.
