يتكون كتاب الحلقة المفقودة من ثمانية فصول تبدأ بتمهيد للمؤلف يوضح فيه بعضا من نماذج النطق المستعمل في جنوب الجزيرة العربية مع عرض لبعض المفاهيم المستعملة في التاريخ اللغوي بخاصة ويعمل على تحدد مدلولها الصحيح بعرض بعضها كما يتحدث عن تاريخ الهجرات العربية ولا سيما التي خرجت من جنوب شبه الجزيرة العربية وعن المناطق التي انتهت إليها تلك الهجرات ويتبع التمهيد ثمانية فصول يتحدث المؤلف عن وحدة الجنس والموطن الأول وعن أسباب الهجرات العربية الأولى وعن عروبة عمليق ومواقع انتشارهم وعن تسمية الكنعانيون.
