We offer a variety of guided tours and itineraries for self-guided individual tours

Inside the iconic Mohammed bin Rashid Library building is a hub of activity, bringing together residents, visitors, students, families, business people and government workers. If you are a first time visitor to the library, or if you are the organiser of a community group or, perhaps, you are visiting Dubai, you might like to take a tour of the Mohammed bin Rashid Library building and our library collections.

Why ask for a guided tour?

The Mohammed bin Rashid Library is one of the largest public libraries in the Middle East with seven floors and ten library collections. Due its size and scale, it may take you more than an hour to tour the building, so why not find out if you can join a guided tour of the library?

Tours for individuals

Our library staff lead guided tours of the building, although these must be arranged in advance. Individuals booking guided tours at the library will often be invited to see the library as part of a group of visitors.

Tours for clubs and groups

If you are an organiser that would like to arrange a guided tour for your club or group, you're welcome to contact us in advance to schedule a tour led by one of our staff members.

Tours for schools and colleges

We welcome group visits from schools and colleges, providing a variety of staff-led tours and itineraries for self-led tours and workshops. All visits from schools, colleges and universities must be booked in advance. Read more here
