The aim of this critical study is to examine the veracity of the depiction of the Iraq War (2003) in post-war Turkish and American cinema productions, using two distinct points of view. This study exposes the similarities and differences between the political agendas of the United States and Turkey by using content analysis to approach the American Film Green Zone (2010) and the Turkish Film Valley of the Wolves, Iraq (2006). This particular realm of the film industry has been used as a non- coercive means to further political goals and advance the political agenda toward war. In fact, war movies are used as an invisible political power to convince the public. Therefore, to carry out this research, John. E. O'Connor's Content Analysis approach will be used to reveal the implicit motives embedded in the two movies behind the Iraq invasion in 2003. The result shows that historical movies can never be completely authentic since they serve as platforms for political commentary.
