The Young Adults Library
The Young Adults Library aims to inspire you to read more, providing you with good books, great resources and the latest tools to help you achieve your goals. Whether you're looking for a new novel to read, resources to help your studies, or simply new ideas, then this could turn out to be one of your favourite places.
The Young Adults Library is located on the First Floor of the building, near to the Maps and Atlases Library, and the Media and Arts Library. Aimed at ages 12 to 17 years old and with nearly 12,000 titles in our collection, we offer one of the most extensive collections for young adults in the region. We believe that you'll find our collection both useful and stimulating, which ranges from fantasy, science fiction and other novels, to biographies, books on art, culture, social sciences and sport. You can even browse our impressive collection of comics, manga and graphic novels.
We understand that student life can be demanding and it's sometimes difficult for students to visit us as often as they would like. For this reason, we aim to help you make the most of your time in the library, whilst also providing you with a comprehensive suite of digital services that you can access any time.
Membership
If you sign-up as a library member, then you'll be able to take advantage of our full suite of digital services, including being able to search and make reservations for books to borrow, plus access to a vast range of digital media and resources. As a library member you will also be able to request and reserve library study rooms on the Second Floor.
