عني \"محمد كرد علي\" في معظم كتاباته بقضية الشبهات وإثبات زيف الأباطيل التي روجها المستشرقون عن الحضارة الإسلامية، ونحن هنا بصدد سلسلة محاضرات ألقاها بقاعة الجمعية الجغرافية الملكية بالقاهرة في رمضان عام 1352ﻫجري، موضوعها \"براعة الإدارة في الإسلام\"، ويتعرض فيها لتاريخ الإدارة في العصور الإسلامية بداية من عهد الرسول، وإدارته لمراحل الدعوة سواء السرية أو الجهرية، وكذلك بعد الفتح، كما يبرز نجاح الخلفاء الراشدين في إدارة الدولة الإسلامية بعد وفاة الرسول، وصولا إلى عهد العباسيين، ويثبت كذلك الابتكارات التي أحدثها المسلمون في نظم الفرس والروم الإدارية بعد فتحهم لممالكهم.
