As the most advanced and sophisticated public facility recently inaugurated in Dubai, the Mohammed Bin Rashid Library has prioritized both futuristic architectural design and public safety requirements aimed at protecting visitors and preserving its important and rare collectibles.
This was clearly evident in the architectural interiors and the provision of state-of-the-art equipment and smart sensor systems to detect fire and smoke, control temperature and humidity, and allocate automatic emergency gates and exits for emergencies connected to special paths to evacuate the public to safe assembly points distributed on the various sides of the building.
Surveillance Systems:

Emergency Exits:
• There are 4 emergency exits in each floor of the library.
• There are 6 safe assembly points outside the building for evacuation purposes.
• Emergency and evacuation paths are illuminated and marked with safety signs to facilitate safe exit and evacuation during emergencies.
• A special fire service access elevator.
Additional Safety Considerations:
• First aid room.
• First aid kits on every floor.
