Overview
بدأ هذا الكتاب بشرح للخرائط الفوتوغرافية وطريقة تمثيلها باستخدام ما يسمى بخطوط المناسبة. ثم التف بدراسة للخرائط الجيولوجية البسيطة التي تتمثل عليها الصخور المختلفة وخاصة الصخور الرسوبية منها. ثم أتبعه بتوضيح للطبقات الرسوبية الأفقية ثم المائلة وطرق رسمها على الخرائط وكذلك القطاعات الجيولوجية وبعض التبني والتشوهات الجيولوجية مثل : الطبقات والصدوع وعدم التوافق ويتكون الكتاب من ثلاثة فصول وعدد من الملاحق وينتهي بثبت المصطلحات وكشاف الموضوعات.
