أصدر مركز البحوث والدراسات الكويتية هذا الكتاب غداه وفاة المغفور له سمو الشيخ سعد العبدالله السالم الصباح في يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 13 من مايو 2008م بعد حياة حافلة قدم خلالها الكثير من جهده وصحته لوطنه وتحمل الكثير من أعباء المسؤولية الوطنية مع رفيق دربه المغفور له صاحب السمو الشيخ جابر الأحمد الجابر الصباح ولم يكن هذا الإصدار عن العطاء الوطني أو القومي لسمو الشيخ سعد رحمه الله إلا تجاوبا مع الإحساسات النبيلة لأبناء الكويت جميعا.
