تميزت هذه «الروزنامة» بالمعلومات والإحصاءات المفيدة عن رحلات السفن الشراعية الكويتية في الثلاثينيات والأربعينيات من القرن العشرين-وجاءت اللوحات التي رسمها النوخذة عن السفن والبواخر دالة على تمتعه بحس فني-الأمر الذي اعتبر فقدها معه-خسارة علمية وفنية شديدة. والنوخذة الحجي سجل في هذه الروزنامة أحداث سفراته ويومياتها بدءا من السفرة الأولى عام 1356 هجري-1937 ميلادي إلى السفرة الثانية عشرة (1369 هجري-1950 ميلادي) حين ترك السفر البحري وعمل في بلدية الكويت (في قسم الشؤون المالية) إلى أن وافاه أجله وهو في السوق عام 1962 ميلادي ودفن بمقبرة الصليبخات-غفر الله له وتولاه برحمته.
