أشارت هالة إلى أن رحلتها الأولى التي خاضتها عام 2009 إلى اليمن كانت من أجل اكتشاف العالم واكتشاف نفسها وكانت بمشاركة نساء إماراتيات فهي في كل رحلة تتعلم دروسا جديدة تسهم في تطوير ذاتها وقدراتها وأكد أنس بوخش أحد أبناء هالة كاظم أنه لم يجد مثل والدته في قدرتها على محاولة أن تشكل عالم خاص بها مبتهجا وسعيدا ولكنه لا ينفصل عن الآخرين، فهي تتخذ من مساعدة الآخرين ومشروع رحلة التغيير أسلوب للحياة بسبب عشقها للمساعدة الناس، مشيرا إنه تعلم منها الإصرار والثبات والسعي خلف الحلم.
