Overview
الجزء الذي بين أيدينا هو الجزء الثاني من الكتاب والذي يدور حول روما وإمبراطوريتها، وهذه الموسوعة من أكبر وأفضل الموسوعات التاريخية الشاملة والتي تسرد تاريخ الأمم ابتدائا من حضارة الشرق واليونان القديمة وإنتهائا بعهدنا المعاصر في 7 أجزاء. ويتكون هذا الجزء من ثلاثة أقسام، يتناول القسم الأول الغرب ووحدة البحر المتوسط، ويشتمل على عدد من الكتب حول حضارة روما الجمهورية، والقسم الثاني من الكتاب يتناول مدنيات الوحدة الرومانية، وبه عدد من الكتب حول المدينة الرومانية في عهد الإمبراطورية الأولى، وحضارة العهد الإمبراطوري الثاني، أما القسم الثالث والأخير فيدور حول آسيا الشرقية.
