تتناول رواية (الجدار) والتي قام بتأليفها عياد ميخائيل عيد في حوالي (130) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (رواية) تتناول هذه الرواية علاقة فتاة صغيرة في سنواتها الأولى من شبابها، ورجل ناضج يكبرها سنا بكثير، قادهم القدر صدفة لهذه العلاقة، وتعلقها به وكان هذا الرجل يهتم بها كثيرا وهى صغيرة مما ذاد تعلقها به، وكان يرى دائما أن سبب تعلقها به في فضائله معها وعاطفته الحانية عليها، ويشعر في علاقته بها إنها مجرد إشباعا نفسيا ومثيرا لحياته، يشعره دائما بوجوده وذاته التي بدأ خريفها يزحف على أيامه، بينما هو مستمر في علاقته بها بلا تغيير، ويرى أن هذا الوضع سيستمر هكذا، حتى لو مكانه أي شخص آخر لكان مثله.
