Overview
هناك جانبين رئيسيين للعلاقة بين حقوق الإنسان والتربية (التعليم). فالحرمان من التعليم في حد ذاته يعد انتهاك جوهري لحقوق الإنسان ومرادف لعدم تمكين الفرد. والجانب الآخر له علاقة بمحتوى المنهج الدراسي ومدى احتوائه لتوجهات حقوق الإنسان. وقد عرفت منظمة العفو الدولية عملية التربية على حقوق الإنسان أنها العملية التي من خلالها يتعلم الفرد حقوقه وحقوق الآخرين في إطار عملية تعليم تشاركية وتفاعلية تفرز تغيير في المواقف والسلوكيات وينتج عنها صيانة مبادئ حقوق الإنسان في الحياة اليومية ويتم اكتساب مهارات جديدة هدفها الدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان.
