يتناول كتاب (حيث ينام الأطفال) والذي قامه بتأليفه (جيمس موليسون) في حوالي (116) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (الأطفال) مستعرضا المحتويات التالية : يقوم هذا الكتاب على فكرة مبتكرة تلامس الطفولة سواء في البلدان المتقدمة أو غيرها من بلدان العالم. وهي فكرة : تصوير الأطفال في غرف نومهم وتقديمه لأطفال العالم ليكون نافذة يتعرفون من خلالها معنى المساواة، والفقر، والتشرد، واليتم، والأمان، والرفان، في مقابل أطفال محظوظين ينعمون بحنان ودفء الوالدين، وبألعاب تمتلئ بها غرفهم. وبالتأكيد الفرق واسع بين هذين العالمين. في عام 2004 طلبت شركة Fabrica من مركز أبحاث بنيتون المبتكرة من مؤلف الكتاب جيمس موليسون، ابتكار فكرة للمشاركة في مجال حقوق الطفل فوجد نفسه كما يقول \"أفكر في غرفة نومي : دورها المهم في أثناء طفولتي وكم كانت تعكس من كنت وماذا امتلكت\" وبات واضحا لديه أنه من الممكن معالجة بعض الحالات المعقدة، والقضايا الاجتماعية التي تؤثر في مرحلة الطفولة من خلال النظر في غرف نوم الأطفال في الظروف المختلفة.
