تتناول قصة (قوم الدسيس) والذي قامه بتأليفه (دبي أبو الهول) في حوالي (32) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (قصص الأطفال) مستعرضا المحتويات التالية : في الفريج الحميدان، عاشت عائلة قوم الدسيس في العتمة، ولم يرأحد من الأهالي أي فرد منها. لم يعلم أحد بأن أفراد العائلة أرادوا حماية الآخرين منهم. فما إن يتعرض جلدهم لأشعة الشمس حتى يصبح شكلهم مخيفا. كانت إليازا الابنة الصغرى تحب التعلم وتحلم بالذهاب إلى المدرسة. لم يوافق والدها على ذلك ؛ فتخرج خفية، وتلحق بمجموعة من الفتيات إلى الصف. هناك تتعرض لأشعة الشمس، يتحول شكلها ويخاف منها الجميع. لكن ذلك لم يمنع نشوء صداقة حلوة مع ميثاء.
