سبق وأن قام المؤلف بمحاولة تأصيل القانون العقلي للسلوك، نعني كتابه : القانون الفعلي للسلوك، وذلك في سعي منه في وضع معالمه الكلية في كتابه \"نهج العقل تأصيل الأسس وتقويم لتطبيق منهجه البرهاني الذي سبق وأن سعى جاهدا المنهج ذا فقد وجد من المناسب تأليف كتابه هذا الذي تعرض فيه إلى الإتجاهات المخالفة في منهجيتها ونتائجها لما قادته إليه محاولة التأصيل، وذلك طمعا في إبراز الفوارق الأساسية التي يتمتع فيها القانون العقلي للسلوك عن سائر الإتجاهات، ورغبة منه في الكشف عن القصر، والتقصير اللذين عنيت بهما جميع المذاهب التنظيرية في معايير السلوك الإنساني المخالفة لمقتضى العقل البرهاني.
