يتحدث هذا الكتاب عن أثر الفلسفة الإسلامية المشرقية على الفلسفة المغربية حيث إن أهم المسائل في الفقه الإسلامي هي مسألة (الوجود والعلم الإلهي والنفس) ومن خلال هذه المسائل وآراء المشارقة بفلاسفة المغرب يظهر مدى التواصل بين أهل المشرق وأهل المغرب حيث كان المغاربة الحلقة التي ربطت الفلسفة الإسلامية في المشرق بالفلسفة اليهودية فكان لموسى بن ميمون دور كبير وفاعل في نقل تراث المشارقة إلى الفلسفة اليهودية كذلك كان المغاربة حلقة وصل بين ثقافة المشرق الإسلامية وبين الفلسفة المسيحية في مختلف العصور لهذا كله لابد من التعرف على الفلسفة الإسلامية في المشرق والمغرب وثم معرفة أثر فلاسفة ومتكلمي ومتصوفة الشرق في أتباعهم في المغرب.
