هذا الكتاب هو محاولة من المؤلف للبحث في أسباب القلق مصادره ومسبباته ونتائجه وذلك في الفصول الثلاثة الأولى أما الفصل الرابع نتحدث فيه عن كيفية تشخيص حالة القلق ثم استعرض في الفصل الخامس أشكال القلق وتأثيراته على المصابين وقدم في الفصل السادس والسابع حلول عملية لعلاج القلق والتخلص منه وتحدث في الفصل الثامن عن المخاوف الإجتماعية (أعراضها-أنواعها-علاجها) ثم تحدث في الفصل التاسع والأخير عن أنجح الأساليب العلاجية لحالات القلق.
