إرشاد الطالبين إلى ضبط الكتاب المبين: قال المصنف - رحمه الله -: «فلما أسند إلي تدريس «علم الضبط» لطلاب قسم التخصص بمعهد القراءات بالأزهر، ورأيت حاجة هؤلاء الطلاب ماسة إلى وضع كتاب في هذا الفن يكون ملائما لمداركهم، مناسبا لأذهانهم، وضعت لهم هذا الكتاب سهل المأخذ، قريب التناول، واضح الأسلوب، منسق التقسيم. وقد التزمت في كتابي هذا: أن أذكر عقب شرح القواعد من كل فصل ما يشير إليها وينبه عليها من النظم الذي وضعه في فن الضبط: الأستاذ العلامة محمد بن محمد الأموي الشريشي الشهير بالخراز، وذيل به الكتاب الذي نظمه في علم الرسم المسمى: بـ «مورد الظمآن في رسم القرآن»
