لا بد من الإشارة إلى أن مقاربتنا قد استهدفت على نحو أساس معالجة المستوى النظري من إشكالية علاقة الدين بالسلطة في الفكر السياسي الشيعي المعاصر فلم تأت على تطبيقات هذه الأفكار التي تجلى بعضها في دولة شيعية معاصرة (إيران) ولا على تمظهرات بعضها الأخر تجارب سياسية أو حزبية بل قصرنا البحث على أسس النظرية كبناء مفهومي مركب من مرتكزات و تصورات ووظائف ينتصب في خضم العلاقة المعقدة بين ثوابت العقيدة وتولات الواقع.
