يروي هذا الكتاب قصة تفوق دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة الدولة التي خرجت من إنتداب بريطاني في بداية السبعينات وكان أغلب شعبه لا يجيد القراءة والكتابة وكانت المنازل عبارة عن أكواخ أو بيوت من طين ولم تكن هناك شوارع أو جسور أو حتى جامعة واحدة استطاع هذا البلد عبر رؤية طموحة وخطة طويلة المدى أن يتحول من بلد مهمش وضعيف إلى دولة متقدمة علميا واقتصاديا وعسكريا وأن يرفع متوسط دخل الفرد في السنة من 350 دولار في بداية الإتحاد إلى أكثر من 50 ألف دولار لتكون الأولى عربيا والرابعة عالميا حسب تقديرات صندوق النقد الدولي لعام 2013 م.
